- The Chris Moriarty Trio is made up of three of the best young jazz musicians on the London scene. Having graced the performed at such venues as The Royal Festival Hall, Ronnie Scott’s, and Wembley Stadium. The trio is the perfect choice is you’re looking for distinguished background music for a drinks reception, or a full on swinging performance for the after dinner dancing! They have as much experience performing at weddings, corporate events, and private parties as they do public appearances. It doesn’t matter where they are, they always bring the same high level of professionalism, musicianship, and joy to each performance.
- The band is available with our without drums, whichever is more appropriate for your event. If drums are not required, they can be substituted with jazz guitar, or saxophone. And, if there are any particular songs you’d like to hear the band play, from a modern pop song to an old classic standard, don’t hesitate to ask. The band may be able to accommodate!
- The trio is also well suited for Christmas events, playing all the classic seasonal repertoire with an authentic jazzy sound. They are also willing to play gigs outside (and have even done so in winter!)
- Notable venues and clients: The Foreign Office, The House Of Lords, Wembley Stadium (Club Wembley), The Oriole, Kansas Smitty's Jazz Club, Ronnie Scott's, Chateau Haroue, Oliver's Jazz Club, The Royal Academy of Arts, The Amba Hotel (Charing Cross), and Petersham Nurseries.
- Led by pianist and vocalist Chris, the trio will play classics from the likes of Nat King Cole, Chet Baker, Frank Sinatra, and Ella Fitzgerald. Or, if you feel vocals aren’t right for your event, they’ll play smooth numbers inspired by some of the greatest instrumental jazz trios. Think Oscar Peterson, Bill Evans, and Errol Garner. They can also get a lot more upbeat with some classic blues and R’n’B by the like of Ray Charles and Aretha Franklin if you want to get up and dancing later in the evening…

Great Jazz Band
I hired Christian’s trio to play at a party I was organising and they were perfect. Christian’s voice is gorgeous and the band sounded wonderful. They really created a nice, relaxed atmosphere.
