The Dionnes were formed when 4 of the current members had been playing together for a number of years and found they shared a passion for the music of the 1960's, particularly the Motown hits of the era. Singers Fiona Browne and Catherine Fox, bassist James Denham and Keyboard player Carl Banks were joined by guitarist Danny Foy, drummer Chris Kelly and singer Ayoma Bowe. The Dionnes started gigging and haven't stopped since. The Dionnes offer something extra-special for your wedding, corporate event or party. They bring the authentic sound, feel and style of the 1960's back to life before your very eyes.... What makes The Dionnes stand apart from the average covers band is their presentation and attention to detail in all aspects of production. You can hear this in their three-part harmonies, and see it in our choreography, vintage costumes, make-up and trademark beehives!
