Act Introduction
The McCommitments bring to life the spirit of the classic soul songs from the 1991 movie to life. The band are a fully live experience with every soul hit a well known song. All band members are experienced musicians. Audience participation encouraged No backing tracks are used. The band dress to impress. The band do not use stand in musicians.
What to expect
2 hours of classic soul hits, like Mustang Sally, Take me to the River, Try A Little Tenderness , In the Midnight Hour and more. Delivered with powerful vocals and superb musicians who genuinely love the music. The McCommitments are a high energy band who command any stage. The audience will be on their feet from the start of the show to the end. Our lead singer is a powerhouse of a vocalist who can punch the songs out and he gets the audience involved. The female backing singers have tight harmonies as well taking solo spots with songs such as Rescue me, Destination Anywhere, Chain of Fools and Nowhere to Run.

Q: How long does setup take? A: Approximately 2 hours
Q: What are your space and power requirements? A: Plenty of sockets for backing amplifiers and keyboards. A stage or space large enough to fit 11 musicians. We can fit in most spaces and can change our set-up to suit. Please take this into account when booking.
