The Mix is the perfect band for your party/wedding/function and they cater the music to suit you and your guest's needs. Their set covers a wide range of genres from Rock to Soul to Pop and everything in-between, so rest assured there is something for everyone - even Auntie Agnes will be rocking it out, playing air guitar with her walking stick! The Mix is extremely versatile, so should you want a more sophisticated performance, they can dig out the dicky bows and tiaras. Either way, they'll guarantee you a fantastic night of entertainment! Offering a variety of lineups and acoustic or party music. If you're booking them for a wedding, we realize it's important to get all of the detail right. They can learn your first dance and even provide a band DJ service that will guarantee to keep the dance floor full going when they take a breather. The Mix is entirely self-contained with excellent equipment and can fit into pretty much any space. The Bands previous clients include Sony, Disney, Thomas Cook, Hilton Hotels, Gleneagles Hotels, Park Resorts, Park Dean, Brittany Ferries, Bourne Leisure, Symphony Hall, Sheffield Arena, The LG Arena, Holiday Inn, Village Hotels, G Casino, The Venue and the Albert Hall - so rest assured you're in safe hands! The Mix is here to make your party the best it can be! Previous Experience The band members have worked with artists such as KT Tunstall, Deacon Blue, Simple Minds, Sandi Thom, Matt Goss, Fish(Marillion), The Blue Nile, The Killerz (UK number 1 Killers Tribute). The band has recently worked for Sony where they recorded many tracks for the latest Global Sony PlayStation release Buzz, The Ultimate Music Quiz. The Mix has also worked in many prestigious venues and hotel chains all over the world including: The Hilton Hotels, Gleneagles Hotel, Village Hotels, Symphony Hall, Sheffield Arena, The NEC, The O2, Haven Holidays, Park Dean, Park Resorts and many more. The band has also toured on many cruise ships including Walt Disney, Thomson and Princess Cruises, which has taken them all over the world. Acoustic Background Music The Mix can offer acoustic background sets, ideal for drinks receptions or over dinner entertainment. Choose from 1 x 45 minutes or 2 x 45 minutes sets with the line up consisting of Acoustic Guitar, Female Vocals and Cajon.
