Hi I'm George also known as the Oxford Wedding Piper. I have played the Great Highland Bagpipes for more than 25 years and have performed at many prestigious public and private events the length and breadth of the UK. I play regularly in and around Oxfordshire and beyond both with my Local Band and as a Solo artist and. As a Professional Highland Bagpiper, I am dedicated to providing the best experience possible at your event and am happy to travel to wherever you need me.

With over 25 years experience and extensive exposure to high profile engagements, I bring a wealth of knowledge and advice to tailor my service to compliment your event to leave lasting memories that will endure a life time. I have various options of Formal, Semi Formal and relaxed Highland dress to suit any event together with a number of different tartans.

Q: How long does setup take? A: I aim to arrive at least 30 - 45 minutes before your event this gives me time to tune and steady my Pipes before we begin.
Q: What are your space and power requirements? A: Being an acoustic instrument I don't need power and can perform indoors or outside, rain or shine cold or hot and only require about 2x2m or enough space to stand.
Q: Do you take requests? A: Certainly. If you have a specific tune that you want played I am happy to include it and if I don't know it and can find it, I'll learn it.
