'Pint Sized' Band with a Big Band Sound! A six-piece jazz ensemble playing music from the roaring 20s, the wartime 40s, the swingin' 60s and beyond.

The Pint Sized Big Band is a versatile six piece jazz ensemble set up by graduates of Leeds College of music to create a classic big band experience with a smaller footprint. The carefully tailored line up lineup consists of talented multi-instrumentalists playing Trombone/Vocals, Tenor Sax/Clarinet/Flute/Bari Sax, Trumpet/Flugel, Piano, Bass, and Drums to recreate the sound of a much larger band. By utilizing specially arranged music, the band is able to perform the best big band, jazz and swing hits from every era; the Roaring 20s, 40s wartime classics, the swinging Rat Pack 60s, right through to some modern day classics. With their large and varied repertorie of music, the band is able to create the perfect set list for any occasion, whether it’s a themed set, such as Gatsby or 40s event, a more subdued background set to bring a high class feel to your event, or more of a raucus sounding dance set, the Pint Size Big Band can personalise their library of music to fit your needs.

What to expect

We will tailor our set list to you and your event, whether you're running a Gatsby style 20s night or want some background dinner jazz, we have a versatile library of music we can pick from to create the right atmosphere for you.

Q: How long does setup take? A: Around 30 minutes to get completely set up, however, as soon as our PA is ready to go, we can begin our complementary DJ service to keep your guests entertained.
Q: What are your space and power requirements? A: We require access to a power outlet and need a covered area to perform in (if outdoors). We require around 16 sq ft to set up and perform in.

Pint Size, Big Sound!

Pint Sized Big Band, certainly believe their name. They produce a big sound, worthy of a much larger band and were impressively professional, especially given that this was their first live gig. We hope to see them here again.

Perfect Start to Christmas

Pint sized big band were the perfect way to start off a night (especially near Christmas). All amazing songs you couldn’t possibly just stand still, they’re all also lovely people and I would love to have them play at an event again!
