The Soul Kings are a trio of Soul singers, working with a musical director and best sound and lighting provision to produce the best for weddings, corporate and private events.

The Soul Kings are a popular trio of Soul Singers emulating the popular songs of the 70,s and 80 soul disc era such as Billy Ocean, Barry white, Cool & the Gang, Earth wind and Fire, The Four Tops, Temptations and many more. The Soul Kings performance is suitable for weddings, corporate and private shows and have performed in the presence of Royals, dignitaries and celebrities as well as for hundreds of private and large corporations. The Soul Kings supply the best of sound and lighting for their stage show and can include a DJ to complete your evenings entertainment. Our sound lighting and DJ's are provided by Paddy Gordon of the Glasgow Events Company as well as working with Tartan Entertainment wedding and events provision.

What to expect

The Soul Kings can provide their show complimented by DJ services to complete every event. Expect a high energy event that will have your guests on the floor all night. The Soul Kings interact with your audience and involve them in the fun of the show.

Thanks for a truly fantastic night last night. I have to apologise for being such a pest with "cadbury" and trying to get his shirt off all night. Think he was getting a bit annoyed with me! lol. The night was a real success and we raised £5444 with lots of gift aid forms completed. I shall check all of those tomorrow but we could be up to about £7000 by the time we add that on. Have just returned from a totally swinging 50th birthday party at the Urban Brasserie at St Vincent's Place, Glasgow organised by Elle Gordon of Angelfish. Everyone was in fancy dress, the drink was flowing and The Soul Kings of Edinburgh were an outstanding and very funky live performance band. Amongst the guests were 2 Austin's (me from 10 minutes ago and me 10 minutes from now, Dr Evil and Felicity Shagwell as well as Hamish in an authentic East German military uniform – yay comrades, finally those capitalist pigs have paid for their crimes! Having MacGregor blood running through these veins it's always great to get a chance of performing in Scotland. Now it's time to recover – 'and I'm spent!'
