A little bit about us... We are an energetic five piece band that takes a dollop of Country, a sprinkle of Rhythm and Blues, a slice of Surf music and a great big helping of old fashioned Rock and Roll, mixing the lot and then heating it up! Covering mainly rarer tracks from the fifties, with a handful of better known tunes thrown in for good measure, we have also developed our own song writing skills and are introducing a few rockabilly originals.
We've performed at Rock and Roll clubs, various pubs and social clubs, beer festivals, music festivals and Hot Rod/Car shows. We can supply all of our own equipment and PA system if required and it goes without saying that we are fully insured too.

The Streamline 55s deliver an authentic vintage sound, with a vintage/retro styling. Vocals are shared around 50/50 male and female, delivering a mixed tempo repertoire of toe tappers, jivers, boppers, strollers and good old groovers. Look out for Xavi's lead breaks which leave his fingers smoking, a raw vocal delivery from singer Paul, Andy's corking drumming accentuated with stabs and flourishes, Stu's smooth bass slapping, and Amanda's charm and smooth vocal tones.

Q: How long does setup take?A: Approximately 60 mins, slightly less if using supplied PA. Q: What are your space and power requirements?A: It is the responsibility of the Hirer to ensure that the Venue is suitable for such an event to take place and that it can accommodate the band and it’s equipment safely, in particularly the provision of a constant 230-volt mains supply. If the band should subsequently, or on the day of performance, discover that the power supply could cause harm to personnel and/or damage the bands equipment this may constitute a valid reason for non-performance.
INSIDE STAGE:
Access to x 2 or more BS 1363 power sockets (Standard UK 3 Pin power socket) within 2 metres of the positioning of the Sound Desk/PA.
Performance area of no less than 3 metres by 3 metres, due to equipment.
Sufficient space to set up and perform safely*
OUTSIDE PERFORMANCES:
In the event that the band is required to play outside then an adequate waterproof awning with protection to the sides and rear must be supplied. In the event of weather conditions prevailing that make it unsafe to perform the band may elect to stop until weather conditions change.

*It is respectfully requested that the person or persons signing the Booking Contract agrees, if deemed to be necessary, to advise their fellow guests that, for health and safety reasons, at no time should any of the band’s equipment be either touched or adjusted without the expressed prior consent of a member of the band.
