My name is Mikey but I am also known as TheArtyOne Caricatures. I draw caricatures for events of most kinds and also product commissioned work.

I provide on the spot caricatures of your guests, clients or customers and can caricature a person in 5 mins. This provides good entertainment for people to watch as well as have a go. I've drawn (pardon the pun) a crowd at exhibitions and expos for corporate events. I've added something fun and creative at festivals. TheArtyOne Caricatures is your friendly neighbourhood caricaturist based in Brighton in the East Sussex but gets around everywhere! He will liven up your event, create a talking point and amuse many - even for hours after he's done! SWISH SWOOSH ZING! Goes the pen and you are immortalised as a funny picture! What to expect

Your guests to be entertained by my drawings of others or by being drawn themselves. It can act as a souvenir of your event or even a business card with a twist for clients to take to the office as a better way to remember your company/business. I caricature a person in 5 mins which makes around 12 an hour. I can print a free message or your names and the date onto the paper. I work best set up in a location where people can come sit for their caricature. I also often get pinned down somewhere (usually uncomfortable) so best to be set up in a way that works for me so I can bang out caricature after caricature. I'm a lean mean caricature drawing machine! I can also roam around guests and create an ice breaker for people to talk about their or someone else's caricature if guests don't know each other. Please specify which you prefer as set up in one location I draw on A3 paper but roaming I downsize to A4.I will need to be sure I can see who I am drawing so a well lit area would be ideal or if the venue can provide some light that would be great.

FAQ

Q: How long does setup take? A: 15 mins to set up and make sure my markers are filled up.
Q: What are your space and power requirements? A: Just space for the venue to provide a chair for me and whoever I am drawing. I have a foldable easel I use so I don't need a huge space. I will need enough light to see what I am doing though.
Q: Do you take requests? A: I can sometimes draw someone in a particular way but as I need to draw as many people as I can in my booked time I keep it simple and fun and draw people as just head and shoulders.
