We started out as a covers band playing a residency in Bristol for many years. Gradually people who came across us at our gigs began asking us if we could play at their birthdays, weddings etc. We were happy to oblige and do so to this day. We play music that suits our combination of musicians, always trying new songs and keeping the ones that work. The result is a solid repertoire we know we will enjoy and will entertain!
We aim to arrive about half an hour before our access time (at least one hour before start time ideally - preferably longer) to allow adequate time to load in, set up and do a decent sound check to get an optimal mix for the space we are playing in. As soon as we are sound checked, we can put on background music through our sound system until we start if you wish.
Once band and event hosts and guests are all ready - the fun begins! We have an A list and B list of songs. We mainly work from the A list and swap in those from the B list as and when seems appropriate. If there any songs requests from our repertoire, we simply ask for notice ideally a week or so in advance and do our best to oblige.
During the break you are welcome to have music played through our sound system. This may be from your own device or ours. Or you can share your own Spotify playlist and we will put it on so you don't need to hand over your phone/laptop/tablet.
We make sure the fun keeps building throughout the second set and providing there is a call for it and the venue allows us, we will play an encore.

Q: How long does setup take?A: We can usually manage within 1 hour but an allowance for longer is better and safer. Q: What are your space and power requirements?A: A hard, level performance space, measuring at least 4m wide x 3m deep for 4-‐piece band. Band performances will benefit from a raised stage, but this is not essential.
At least two domestic-‐style three-‐pin 13 amp plug sockets, preferably at either side of the performance area. If possible sockets should be supplied from separate ring circuits so that power is evenly distributed. Total power loading will not exceed 5 kilowatts (5000 watts) and the act will probably use a lot less than this. Q: Do you take requests?A: Within our repertoire - usually ideally with some notice before the gig.
Outside our repertoire - the short answer to this is usually no. We have an extensive repertoire that continually evolves sometimes but dropping some songs and learning new ones. We are quite selective in finding songs that suit our lineup and style. We don’t like the idea of charging for the cumulative hours required for the band to learn a request, but happy to take ideas incase it does suit us.
4 seasoned musicians who know a thing or two about performing a fun packed, energetic, floor filling set of tunes for your event!
