Act Introduction

We are delighted to introduce you to Unity Irish Dance Company. Their aim is to provide world-class entertainment to meet a wide variety of needs, from resident performances to corporate events and other functions all over the world. The company is made up of professional Irish Dancers who have toured the world with some of the biggest shows on the circuit performing to sold-out Stadiums and Arenas with packed audiences in excess of 20,000. Their experience, skill, and passion are essential ingredients in making Unity Irish Dance a great spectacle to watch.

What to expect

Unity sets out to provide world-class entertainment for any event all throughout the year with the promise that their creation will be unique for all venues of any shape and size! With a catalogue of routines and a vast list of dancers, they can create a high-class show tailored to the location. Staging is key to how creative your show can be and Unity have gained a reputation for using any means possible to bring their performance to life. Their choreography or use of the room itself as the stage enhances the experience for the audience members and makes them feel like they are part of the show. If necessary, Unity provides their own dance boards that can be placed around the room. Some routines that have worked well in their past are Flash Mob; Mixing in with the event staff and bursting out into their routines. Acapella; A 20-minute set made purely with the sound of their shoes, body percussion with no music. Their routines are constantly changing, making every performance slightly different, but one thing that never changes is their layout. It's a 20-30 minute running time performed by a minimum of 4 dancers. And if you're lucky enough to be dragged on stage... audience participation! The costumes are a perfect balance between traditional and contemporary. So whilst there feet bless your ears with rhythm, your eyes are caught by there beautiful Celtic designs. Their choreographers, recently nominated for the Dublin Events Industry Awards, are leading the way in their fusion of traditional yet innovative choreography.

Q: How long does setup take? A: Setup is minimal. We arrive an hour before the performance to allow time for a professional warm-up. This time also allows us to contact the organiser of the event and sort out all the finer details.
Q: What are your space and power requirements? A: As long as there is room for us to dance and a sound system for our music we can perform anywhere! We are not limited to certain stage sizes. But if required we can provide our own dance platforms!
Q: Do you take requests? A: YES! Our performances thrive with collaboration! As well as premade setlists we also offer the oppurtunity to alter a number of features on our routines. Eg; length of the set, amount of dancers required, etc. We try to accommodate all clients needs so contact us and let us see what we can do!
